Happy Spring!

I am the current bookkeeper as well as the parent distribution person for the weekly Hound Highlights. This page is a work in progress - and will contain reminders for student fees such as class dues, lost textbooks, parking fines, and other incidences where students have to see me. As policies and procedures related to bookkeeping activities are developed, they will be posted here as well.

Outstanding Parking Tickets

According to the Student Handbook, Section VIII. Parking - Students are responsible for following the parking rules, which includes having a valid decal and park within the area designated for students. Fines are assessed for violations, issued by our Campus Security Officers. All violations must be paid within 3 school days of the issue date; then the fine increases $1/day.

Over the next week, I will be sending out letters to parents of students who have outstanding parking tickets. Most of these tickets were issued in the Fall - so there are substantial late fines - some of them more than 5 times the ticket fine. If your student is planning to participate in graduation ceremonies, whether it is this year or in the future, these tickets must be paid.

Lost Textbooks from Fall 2007

Good News! Students have returned or paid for 94 textbooks that were not returned to their teachers last fall semester. Thank you!

Bad News: There are still over 125 textbooks on the Lost Textbook list. Theoretically students on this list are not allowed to receive their new textbooks for this semester until their name has been marked off the list. This includes seniors who will not be allowed to particpate in graduation ceremonies in May. Please bring them in to me as soon as possible.
