Welcome students and parents:

SPRING TERM

Below you will find my classroom information.  Please print all files.  Safety forms will be given to Mr. Hubinger during the first week of class.  Safety forms are of the upmost importance.  These are a checklist of safety issues, performance and technique of exercises, etc.  Each student must turn this form in to me to begin lifting in class.  The syllabus, as well as our Make-Up Policy, are attached for you to keep for future reference.  Please pay special attention to the make-up policy.  This is a comprehensive policy, which will be followed by the entire Physical Education Department.

At this time the schedule will be as follows: Strength training will be Monday through Thursday.  Strength training will be a combination of Upper Body, Lower Body and Explosive(Ballistic) exercises.  The workout will change every week and will recycle every 8 weeks.  The plan is to obtain a max, on certain lifts, on the fifth week of the cycle.  The daily/weekly routine of exercises is also attached to my blog for your convenience.  We will try to incorporate Speed Agility Quickness training at some point in time during the class period after weight room use.  SAQ training will consist of speed, agility, quickness, core and plyometric drills.

Purchasing a small notebook will help you track your progress of exercises during class.  Although this is not required, it is recommended.
