Drama 1 - Monologue Assignment

Due Wednesday, November 2

Copy your monologue into a Word document. Underneath your monologue, answer the following:

1. What is your character's objective? (What does he/she want?) It must be a verb statement.

2. If your monologue is from a play or movie,

• What is the name of the play or movie?
• What is the situation leading up to the monologue?

3. Write a brief character backstory leading up to the monologue. (8-10 sentences) ie Describe your character, his background, history, significant character traits, influential people in his life, etc.

Print two copies - one for you and one for me

 

Fall Concert This Tuesday!

The Fall Concert will be shared with Hightower Trail Middle School Chorus
Location: Hightower Trail Middle School
Concert Start Time: 7:00pm

5:15 - Socialize with the chorus students at Hightower. Enjoy some free pizza. Bring a 2-liter of drink to share

6:15 - Call time
Be fully dressed in formal concert attire

7:00 - Start time

8:30 - Approxmate end time
