Unit I: Lab Safety Download Intro units09 (1/6 - 1/9)
Tuesday night please get your forms signed, study the elements and symbols and safety information.
Quiz on elements Thursday and Test on safety and equipment on Friday!
Wednesday night (1/7) study for your element quiz tomorrow and your safety and equipment test on Friday. Make sure to get all your forms back so you can do your lab on Friday.
Thursday night (1/8) study for your safety test tomorrow. Don't forget that your first lab is tomorrow and in order to do it you have to have your safety contract in and pass the safety test. Also, don't forget you need to wear closed toed shoes!
Friday (1/9) - No homework.
Unit II: Math and Matter Download Math & Matters09 (1/12 - 1/23)
Monday (1/12) Study notes and complete Pgs. 1-4 of math review packet. Lab write up completion is also HW.
Quiz Friday on all math concepts in this unit.
Tuesday (1/13) Study notes and complete the density problems and rounding pages of your practice packet.
Wednesday (1/14) Study notes and complete the 1 page math practice HW sheet that you picked up today in class (front and back).
Thursday (1/15) Study for your quiz tomorrow and complete the math review sheet you picked up in class. If you need additional practice there are unused pages in your practice packet. Complete graph #1 in your graphing packet.
Friday (1/16) If you did not complete graph #2 in your handout finish it over the weekend. Have a good 3 day weekend!
Tuesday (1/20) Study your notes, review math concepts from last week,...test Friday. Complete the solubility graph if you didn't finish it in class.
Wednesday (1/21) Study your notes, review math from last week, and complete final graph if you didn't finish in class.
Thursday (1/22) Test tomorrow!! Study your notes and review math from last week.
Unit III: (1/26 - 2/5) Download Atomic structure and factor labelings09
Monday (1/26) HW: Work assigned dimensional analysis problems and study notes.
Tuesday (1/27) HW: Work assigned problems, read chapter 11 in your book, and study your notes.
Wednesday (1/28) HW: Study notes on electron configurations, review other notes, and work assigned problems on dimensional analysis.
Quiz next Tuesday (2/3) and the test is Thursday (2/5)!
Thursday (1/29) HW: Study notes, work problems 1-4 on pga 4, write the electron configurations, orbital diagrams, and electron dot structures for the 4 elements assigned on the front of the last page of your practice packet.
Monday (2/2) HW: Study notes, study for quiz, and work on Nuclear Lab. Nuclear Lab due Tuesday 2/17.
Tuesday (2/3) HW: Study notes and work on Nuclear Lab.
Wednesday (2/4) HW: Test tomorrow! Study notes and work review sheet (omit 20-25) and on on #28 add that there are 8 slices per pizza.

Tuesday (2/10) HW: Quiz tomorrow on the polyatomic ions....study! Read over the notes we took today in class and work on the nuclear Lab.
Wednesday (2/11) HW: Study notes, study ions if you have to re-take the quiz on Tuesday (2/17), and work on the Nuclear Lab.
Thursday (2/12) HW: Study ions if needed for Tuesday, study your notes, complete the laptop activity on groups before or after school with your partner before Wednesday (2/18), and complete the Nuclear Lab for Tuesday (2/17).
Friday (2/13) HW: Study ions if needed (quiz 2/17), study notes on the periodic table(quiz 2/18), finish group activity by Wednesday (2/28) and complete the Nuclear Lab (due 2/17).

Tuesday (2/24) HW: Study all notes, do assigned practice, and work on LTA that is due Friday.
Wednesday (2/25) HW: Study for your quiz tomorrow, Complete lab if you did not finish it in class, do assigned practice, and work on LTA.
Thursday (2/26) HW: Study notes and complete the LTA.

Unit VII: Mole Conversions Download Mole units09rev The notes on this unit are not on a powerpoint. You will be given a handout and any additional notes will be taken form the board.
Test for 1st and 2nd will be Friday 3/27 and for 4th will be Thursday 3/26. That is due to the fact 4th will meet all week and I will only see 1st and 2nd twice. If you are doing the optional bonus it is due Monday 3/30
Friday 3/13 HW: Study your notes from today and work the assigned problems from the practice packet on pages 1, 2, and 4.
Monday 3/16 HW: Review all the notes and work the assigned problems on mole conversions and percent composition.
Tuesday (3/17) HW: Study all notes and work assigned practice problems.
Wednesday (3/18) HW: Study all notes and work assigned problems.
Thursday (3/19) HW: Study for your quiz and work assigned practice problems.
Friday (3/20) HW: Study to complete your quiz. Next week is going to to different due to graduation testing. 1st Block has 3 assignments due by Wednesday (the next time we meet) 1. Practice quiz, Airplane lab, and completion of % comp. lab. 2nd Block has the practice quiz due Monday. 4th block just study...you will have HW next week.
Monday (3/23) HW: 1st - see assignment from Friday since we did not meet. 2nd - practice quiz. 4th - Practice quiz.
Tuesday (3/24) HW: 1st - see assignment from Friday. 2nd - Complete the airplane lab and practice test for Friday since we will not meet again until then. 4th - Finish the airplane lab and don't forget youall need to be studying your notes and problems. 1st & 2nd test on Friday and 4th block test is Thursday.
Wednesday (3/25) HW: 1st - Study for Friday's test, work on airplane lab and practice test. 2nd - Study and complete airplane lab and practice test by Friday. 4th - Study for your test and complete the practice test.
Thursday (3/26) HW: 1st and 2nd - study for the test and complete the practice test and airplane lab. 4th - Complete the airplane lab.
Friday (3/27) HW: Complete bonus activity if you chose to do it.
