NOTE TO PARENTS :  Students taking Algebra I will be required to take an End of Course Test (EOCT).  It is state-mandated that the end of course test score be posted on a student transcript, that the test count 15% of the student’s grade, and that the test serve as the final exam for the course.  When the 15% is weighted with the remaining course grades, a student must earn an average of 70 or above to pass the course.  All students are encouraged to review the State End of Course Test Study Guides available at www.gadoe.org.  Go to “Testing Programs”, then select “EOCT”, then select the appropriate course.  Please be sure that your child is prepared and in attendance on the day the test is given.

Algebra 1 - Part 2 General Information

General Information - Algebra 1 - Part 2

Extra help is available virtually every morning beginning at 7:50 am and ending at 8:10 am (except for the first Thursday each month).  Other known meetings which will affect help will be posted in class.

Free tutoring is also available through the Extended Learning Program (call Ms Mason @ 770-578-7900).  Peer tutoring is available through Mu Alpha Theta (Tuesday mornings 7:45 - 8:15 am in Room 107 and Thursday afternoons 3:30 - 4:00 pm in Room 109).  Additional peer tutoring is also available through the Beta Club and the National Honor Society.

Grade printouts will be sent home for parent signature periodically.  Grades may be checked at any time through I-Parent.
