Today:

    Photosynthesis and Cellular Respiration were discussed:

    6CO₂ +6H₂O  plus sunlight  C₆H₁₂O₆ + 6O₂
    Carbon dioxide plus water yields with sunlight glucose and oxygen (Photosynthesis)
                                                                        energy and wastes

    C₆H₁₂O₆ + 6O₂ yields 6CO₂ +6H₂O  (Cellular Respiration)

    ADP - Adenosine Diphosphate and ATP - Adenosine Triphosphate (provides chemical energy) 
    Breakdown of ATP releases energy and forms ADP

    Review packet on the EOCT - make sure you keep working on the packet as at least 50 minutes was given in class to work on the material.

Homework:

    Work on EOCT Packet  - EOCT is Wedesday and Thursday

    Heredity and Genetics Test - Friday, May 8th.
